Jurupa Road Grade Separation Project

The Jurupa Road Grade Separation project in Jurupa Valley will construct a new, four-lane underpass on Jurupa Road, a new Van Buren Boulevard bridge and a new Union Pacific Railroad bridge. The Jurupa Road Grade Separation Project underpass will improve safety and traffic circulation by separating train traffic from vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists. It will also improve the quality of life for Jurupa Valley residents by eliminating waiting for trains.

Work hours: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and weekends as needed

Location: Jurupa Road and Van Buren Boulevard in Jurupa Valley

Traffic impacts:  Jurupa Road closure and detour in place, business access remains open.

Funding: The $133.4 million is funded using SB132 funds and with Measure A Western County Regional Arterial funds provided by RCTC.
